What is your background and why did you decide to become a digital nomad?
I'm an Android developer from Prague and I'm working for Czech IT company. I don't actually have a goal to become a digital nomad. I just think it's cool to change location for a couple of months each year while still working remotely. Especially when it's winter and the location has tropical climate.
How long have you been working remote and what are you currently working on?
It is my first experience of remote work and I definitely like to do it again. Changing the environment almost always gives additional motivation.
Why do you think Tenerife and the Canary island is a good destination for digital nomads?
Because Tenerife is still Europe, the flights are dirt cheap, the prices on the island are low as well comparing to mainland Europe. But it still warm even in the winter, the landscape is beautiful, it's safe and there are things to do here.
What is your favorite thing about Nine Coliving?
I haven't been to other colivings yet. But I think the uniqueness of this place is in attention to details, warm, I may even say family atmosphere and sincerity. All the amenities are on the highest level as well, and the building itself is gorgeous. Anne is doing a great work for sure!
